Skies of Arcadia PAL on VGA Box ?

Hi !

I have purchased recently the Treamcast VGA Box and it seems that the ECHELON release (with the cheater menu) of Skies of Arcadia does not work, is there a patch for my version of this game (I live in France, my DC is a PAL One and the in-the-game texts are in french), on my VGA Box, there is a 3 position switch : USA, JAP and TV, my other PAL games work perfectly with it on the JAP position, but not my skies of arcadia.

As-tu verifie si l'option etait topee dans l'ip.bin ?
Pour ça, il faut l'extraire (comme tu le veux, mais tu peux faire une image CDI et extraire l'ip.bin avec mon programme) et utiliser ipBin4Win pour verifier si l'option "VGA Box supported" est topee.

VGA support is somtimes disabled in the IP.BIN when it actually works, but it also has to be compiled into the game in the first place. Unforunately, Skies PAL is one such game where it is not supported at all.

I have the echelon release of that game. I have tried to make it VGA compatible before, but the 1st_read.bin was not binhackable, I couldn't find any of your usual landmarks when looking at the CDI image with Hex Workshop, and I couldn't get it to boot after messing with it no matter what I tried.

If so, I can pack up my original GDROMs of the game for good. I like to keep my originals stored away safely and only play my backups because they have such a tendency to get scratched when friends or your roommate plays with em'.
