Burner supports multi session or not?

What exactly does the multi session function do? Do I need to check for this feature when I buy my CD burner? I just bought a CD burner a few days ago, so if mine does not supported it I can still go and get another.
Please I need your advice. Thanx!

you need mutisession burning to burn self bootable games cause you have to burn two sessions on the cd. the self booting part and the actual game. i don't have a multisession burner but there are ways around it.

I want to ask you, the "Open new session is grayed" So that means that my burner does not support "Multisession" In order to have this feature, I have to check with and ask the reatailer if the burner supports it? Please help me,
I really want this feature, what should I do?
(Either way I need to change the burner that I have)
Thank you,
