Cool Medal of Honour Installation

Hey everyone

After making a backup of Medal of Honour and trying to installing it I get only so far then it reads that there is an error reading my drive and it always stops when installing a certain pak file....anyone have the same problem and if so what can I do?

Sounds like a bad copy... Try making another copy of the original cd.

Note that I'm talking about the READ speed. In programs like CloneCD, you can change the read speed by editing the cd profile. If you only put the write speed on 4x, nothing will change. If you use Nero to make a Cd Copy, you can find the read speed setting under 'Copy options' in the copy dialog. Normal read speed on my cdwriter is for example 40x. Putting it on 4x will often correct troublesome cd's.

I'm using Alcohol...I tried reading and burning at 4x...and the saME results...weird

Just for the record : does the original cd do this too ? If so, and you can't fix it by lowering the read speed, it's probably time to get a replacement from the publisher.

Hey it finally worked but I'm going to have a to get a new videocard. My Radeon 64mb just doesn't cut it. Causes the game to freeze after the 3rd mission.
