Did you follow these directions when using CloneCd? What burner do you have?

well , in some cases you could just rip the game to hd, then apply the patch altering the copy protection, i thought that might be the case in this sitution.

i'm not havin any success at all with ff. no probs with any other game dvds or what not

(ps2 modded with no solder, using magic boot disc's)

Unhappy

I'm seriously hoping for an answer to this question as well. Although the game I have is a store-bought cd, it crashes on FF2. I get to the first dungeon (behind the falls) and whenever I enter the door to go to the second level, the entire game freezes and I have to reboot the PS-1. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this that I can use, manually, or through a copy or a download perhaps?

Attempting to contact Square/Enix has been a waste of time, as has searching the web for any info on the problem...could I be the only one with this particular glitch? I've thoroughly cleaned the cd, the PS-1, the controller, the t.v. outlets, restarted the game, tried the same maneuvers in the game itself, several different ways, but nothing works. Any suggestions? I've finished FF1, and I'd really, really like to be able to play this one, too.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
