99 Min CD's

HI

I try to copy a CD to be used at a party (rather than stuff up the original).

The length of the CD I'm copying form is 84min

I have purachsed a 99 min CD

I'm using a Philips 6002 DVD/CD writer.

The retailer gave me the direction of how to alter the length of the CD specification in Nero and I also tried NTI's Cd burn.

In both case no luck.

It would appear that my writer does not recognize the Cd being in the drive.

It does if I use a 80 min CD but not when I put in the 99 min CD.

I've looked at options from control panel and can not see what else I need to change.

Any suggestions beside flicking the 99 min CDs

Thanks

ive used nero to do all of my overuburning. i have a liteon cd burner and nero v5.5.8 and have purchased 99min cd-r's. and as of yet have had no bad burns. have u checked overburning option in nero. if u haven't then go to file and from there go to preferences. in here go to expert features and click on enable overburn and put in 99 for the mins and 59 for the secs. if it still doesnt work then ur about to burn the cd and ur at the burn cd screen, go to the write method and pick Disc-At-Once. U can overburn cd's when this option is selected. if it still doesnt work then this means that ur cd burner is not compatible and u will have to buy a cd burner that allows 99 mins overburning. i hope i was some help to u.
