are some ps2 games now using dual layer discs (DVD9)!?? damn it! can you remove like french, german, italian etc from the disc to shorten the size??? does anybody actually realize that copying a dvd9 disc is impossible and will remain impossible for quite some time since dvd writers can't burn two layers onto a disc. Damn it!! this sounds like a cheap way to copy protect games!!

yes... there are a few games on DVD9 out now... but why would it be harder to rip a DVD9 to one or more DVD5, then rip a DVD5 to one or more CD-R ???
Of course you can rip languages and stuff like that, if you got some skills... or you can download a ripped version, or a patch for the DVD9...

Yeah, it does look like sony have come up with a real good copy protection method without having to have put any thought into it but there is no such thing as an uncopyable game, just a matter of waiting for the rip kits to arrive
