help on mod chip~!
I am looking for a mod chip that will alow me to play backup/imports on CDR/RW/dvdr/rw. as well as home brewd software such as linux and the xbox media player. I am looking at the x ecuter 2 pro but I am no an expert on flashing the chip in fact I have no idea how to do it. how could I do it using evox? is it really complicated?

Any modchip will play unasigned code like EvoX and Linux.
If your going to go with one of the X2 Chips I would go with the LITE over the Pro, only b/c its freflashed.

in that case id recommend a lpc chip. they are way cheaper than the x-ecuter series and still have the functions you need.
but you need to know one thing: not all xbox can read cdr media. it depends on the dvd drive inside. only samsung dvd drives really get along with cdr media. if you dont have the samsung drive, you can still use cd-rw media. |
