identifying media

does anyone knows how to identify what type of dvd-r media you have... the silver/purple ones that have on logo... how do we know is what they advertized?? u know the dealers..

Also . . . . . you can download a small, self-contained program called "DVD Info" from Meritline which is free and easy to use.
