Hey everyone, I'm really new at this whole thing of backing up ps2 games but have done alot of reading in your forum and other places on the net. I don't know alot abou the chips although I am capable of soldering as I have taken 3 courses in it. I was wondering if someone could take the time to go to this link and check out this package that is being offered and give me some pro's and con's. It says I can back them up on a regular cd-r or cd-rw. It comes with chip, program for backing up games and also detailed instructions on installing the chip. Thanks in advance for anyone that takes the time to help me out in this. It seems like a good package but like I said I'm new to this whole thing. Here is the link. Thanks again.

Don't even think about it........
It comes with a Neo 2.2 chip....... Which is KNOW to cause damage to the laser on the PS2....... Save up the extra money and get a Messiah 2........ They cost $58 bucks and about $60-70 buck to hav it installed...... Its worth every last penny.......
