skip doctor, what has it done to my cd?

I had a vcd movie which had the last 3 minutes unreadable because of some very light scratches (i would say so). I put it in the skip doctor, I wish I hadn't. Before I put it in I did a nerospeed surface scan and got:

Good: 97.65 %
Damaged: 0.00 %
Unreadable: 2.35 %

Now, after using it twice and buffing for over 20mins all together I would say, I have it up to:

Good: 90.82 %
Damaged: 3.58 %
Unreadable: 5.60 %

Not impressed I must say. The thing that strikes me as odd, is that all of the new errors have occured at the very end of the surface scan (near the edge of the disk). I only had 2 blips of errors before I scanned the CD, now I have 2 full lines of red blocks in nerospeed. I've tried buffing away till I'm all tired out but still to no avail.

Any help?

Sounds like your vcd is beyond help. You have 2 options:
1. Live with the fact that you can't watch the last 3 minutes
2. Make a new vcd
