PS2 Back-Up problems!

Hey,

I just got my version 7 PAL PS2 fitted with a Messiah 2. I have backed up several of my DVD games with no problem. However, I just tried Conflict Desert Storm and even at x1 speed it doesn't boot. Also, I can't get Sum of all Fears (CD ROM) to boot even at x1 speed recording. Any ideas? Perhaps I should buy more expensive disks!?

Thanks for any advice in advance guys.

Media is most likely your problem. What are you using?

Hi m8,

Just cheapies at the moment. Vivastar DVDs and unbranded CD-Rs. I think I'll go to the computer fair this weekend and buy some decent discs for my Pioneer 104.

Hi,

Just to say thanks m8. I bought some decent DVD-Rs and CD-Rs and both of the games I mentioned above boot fine. Thanks again.

Time to do some more of my back-ups!
