Connection from XBOX to PC

Hi there! I need help again. After burning EvoX i don't get any connection via FLASHFXP. It always tells me: No route to Host. I use the right password and username. And the IP adress is the one, shown up when I go to the network setting menu in Evox. Have I to change the IP of my XBOX? And how does this works?Evox won't save the new IP I set.

First of all, are you using a router/hub or a cross over cable?

EvoX won't save if your running it off a cd-rw/dvd. It will only save if your running of the HDD. So you can change the settings by opening the evox.ini and edit them before you burn to a cd, or you can put it onto your HDD and they will then be able to save.

Second, you can see if your xbox can be found on the network. I dunno if the command is the same for each op. system, but in windowsXP you go into cmd and type "ping (you xbox IP here)". If it comes back with info, then your xbox is correctly connected to the network.

Yep! Now it works. I had to set the TCP Protocoll settings. But now I've two new questions:

1. How to reset the XBOX during games?
2. How to use a bigger Harddrive with off switched Mod?

1. It depends. You can either use the evoX bios, or you can have the evoX dashset up. To use the IGR (only in v1.8.3285), set up evoX as the dashboard and press L+R+BACK+START to reset the game. I dunno if it's the same button combo for the bios, but should be.

2. You have to lock your HDD for it to work without a modchip.

There are utilities for the xbox that lock the HDD. I have never done this, so I dunno how to do it.
