dvd+r on a v3 and 4 ps2
i keep reading that dvd+r wont work on v3 or 4 ps2 but i have a philips dvd+r drive and have just backed up a couple of games they work on my v3 which is one of the original ones and my brothers and m8 v4 machines with no probs. cant see what all the fuss is about.

We say don't because 9 out of 10 times they don't. There are some exceptions though, like you and your bro.

its the lasers.
most v3 or v4 lasers are a POS by now, but some have been kept in good condition might be able to read em

Yeah.... Its just a good rule of thumb that V5-V7 will play them.... Most of the earlier ones have been used so mouch that they tend not to like them.... Consider yourself and your brother lucky... As you two are one of the few.....
