gt3 has its own 3.6mb file this still to big
u say all will come back (as u have done it already)u not need ripp it again
put your rip i pc
copy sces file dvd checks done
wit origanl and your i know ofsets (its easy)
extract your ripped version gt3.vol
then u can post .pss file u used
(which game fmv runs in your gt3 surely u know
then i write tutorial
i can include offsets dvd
i can include .pss file
u can post it with my and your name np

I remembered that file as being small. My memory must be going in my old age.
I no longer own a ripped version of the game so cannot post the slus file or anything else from it.
On Saturday I am not working so I will make another rip from my original and then create a walkthrough so that you can see where you are going wrong.

ps1 file is valid
its exactly same format as ps2 .pss

u know how to view .pss file very easily
i do post your reply i tell u
the problem is dvd checks
all posted ones r wrong
take a look at it will take u 1 min u got origanal
not like any other dvd checks i seen

please help dvd checks

ps i can watch pss file i can listen to sound to

When ripping I always use ps2 .pss I tried ps1 .pss and they never work for me. I work long hours during the week so cannot look at gt3 until saturday when I rip it again. When I have ripped it I will let you know the dvd checks.
Reading through the previous posts it says you have ripped summoner and orphen have you done any other games I ask because I want to know in case I rip a game that you have done and get stuck

sorry last reply i was bit titchy
must sleep sometime
i use windows media play to play .pss files
it has to have divx filters applied(i have good movie collecion on pc)
to play sound use program called pss2wav
then play it
i made mistake
i watch .pss (ps1) it has single image
i watch .pss(ps2) it has 2 images split horizontily they look same ps2 must merge both pictures
i need small.pss(ps2)file
but were froim
i found french tutorial
hard to read but it says download blank.pss from www.###wnz.com but site is down

please look for small .pss file
i eagerly awiat your tutorial(maybe i am to new)
but have read and learnt all of gokun multi tutorial
cant b lba file strucure hidden in hex (like atv offroad fury) because files we change r iv gt3.vol we cant choose lba for these

***PS**** one other thing i learn ps2 .pss origanal files i can watch
except menu_bg2.pss(its only small pss on gt3)same folder file name .pss 1 doesnt play why?
my family is happy they all have new coffe coasters

hmm i also played summoner and other ps2 .pss files on media player
they all play same as ps1 .pss files
only gt3 .pss files play double like a mirror image
dont forget 1 file one gt3 small 1 is a .pss but its a diff format all together mplayer wont play this one
for now i carry on using ps1 file
a ps2 .pss file 2996kb is only 5 secs long
a ps1 .pss file 1116 is 2 sec
size tiome ratio same
but both play normal on media player
a gt3 .pss plays but is split in 2 pictures as if they r merged together by playstation
and 1 file only menu_bg2.pss is diff format to rest mplayer wont play this one

guess who has ripped gt3 working

i had to use different tutorial
diff extractor and rebuilder
so simple done it 20 mins
sces is supplied(u should c it u never bevieve it.its full 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000)
one problem instructions r in german(ripping instructions game is english)
yes im english
but i know gt3 off by heart
iif u want it let me know
everything u need is in it(631mb zipped)
i shall try to write a newbies english guide to go with it
quick instructions for pro like u will b easy

If you are writing a rip guide you could ask Deano to publish it on his site

When you write the guide email it to me [email protected]
I can then go through it and let you know how easy it is to follow and whether there are any problems relating to different operating systems and hardware setup. Did you find out how many DVD checks there were? It has been bugging me for days cause I can't remember...
