I don’t think there are “clips” for the Messiah 2 (at least not yet). If all you want to avoid soldering is the bios chip, in theory a Magic 2/3 clip will work, since all direct boot chips use the same 9 bios connections with the exception of the “W” connection of a Messiah 2, but since this point (w) doesn’t have to be solder directly on the bios chip it should be a piece of cake.
PLEASE NOTE: This is just an idea, I’ve never done it or anything it just came to me when I saw your post, so don’t try it unless you’re pretty confident. |

there are many complaints of clips falling off (magic)
bios legs on v5 andv7 are large,if u can solder the pionts like scex, which u have to do ,then u have np with the bios on v5 or v7 or get someone like me to do it for you ![]() its the cdvd controller legs on v4 or older that are small ,v5 v7 u not need to solder to cdvd legs

The bios points can also be connected to the underside of the board. Send me an email for the install piccie (tis too big to post ere) or use ur test meter to identify them. Directly under the bios chip you will find 2 lines of solder pads, alas, these go straight thru the board!
