UK New PS2 Boy

Hi all this is my first post.

I have a PS2 and bought a Swap Magic No Solder Mod Kits V7 for my Machine and installed fine ( i dont know if they are any good or not ) Got it from http://www.modchipworld.co.uk

I got this as there was no chance of me doing the solder Job

I am not yet up with all the PS2 stuff

I got a friend to copy Gran Turismo 3 and that works fine

I don't have a DVD writer yet but i am looking to get one.

I got a friend to make a backup of GTA vice city and it loads but every 10 min i get a disc error ??

Also whats the best way to play NTSC games Maybe charlie_ps2 can help me as you are in the UK , what did you buy from Maplin ?

I live in London any PS2 Techy guys in London on this forum ?

Any good tips from your guys what i need to do with my PS2 to make able to play all the Games and save me buying them new
