How do i copy GT3 or any other DVD based game???

Hi all!!!!
I'm an old hack at PS1 game ripping. But i'm new to PS2, I'm going to get a NEO4 soon. But i'm after some advice??
To Rip a DVD game like GT3 do you need a DVD burner or can you use a CD Burner???
I would think you would need a DVD-R but i'm just asking before i commit.

A CD burner is fine for burning the result of DVD ripping.

Search the form on GT3 RIP for stacks of advice and get the tutorial from Sgt DAN's site.
