Recording games larger than 650MB

Hi

I have a PS2 V7 with a No Solder chip that can only play 650 MB CDR
Most of the games are larger than that, 700 or 800 MB, how can I get a smaller version of the game?
I tried copying it to a DVD but since the bin file is a cd image, it is not letting me record on a DVD.

What is the way to strip the game to a smaller version or how can I put a bin image on DVD?

Thanks
ouss

try this page

http://www.spiv.de/ps2

The patches on the site will enable you to boot cd based games over 650MB on a no solder modchip
