@r!sc unSafeDisc won't work on Aquanox

i copied the game, and everything went fine, and i thought it's enough that i copy it, and then unSafeDisc it, but everytime i try to dump the "aquanox.exe" it produces a fatal error and then a message-box pops up with this message: "GetThreadContext failed. process allready finished??" but the no "aquanox.exe.data.bin" was created!!! so i can't rebuild it, where's MY fault???

You've analysed the loader, and that's the version?

Hmmm, will the game run okay anyway? And are you running windows XP?

yes, i analysed it with SafediscAnalyser and thats the version! and i'm not running WinXP, i'm running Win2000 Pro (and i also tried it on Win98 on my sister's computer)!

no, the game won't run without a crack =(

That's your problem.

I'll be very clear about this.

Unsafedisc2 will only work if the game can run fully. i.e. you must have a working cd as unsafedisc needs the game loader to run fully and dump the unprotected executable.

So I repeat....UnSafeidsc2 will not work if you have an imperfect copy. Period.

1. You state "I copied the game".....kinda implies you're running from a backup, doesn't it!
2. You still don't say if you're fully installed game runs fine from your original, or whether your problems only arise from the copy.
3. You state "the game won't run without a crack"......originals don't need cracks. If it won't run, then it has nothing to do with Unsafedisc...rather that your install or setup is fecked in some way.
4. You state " i have the most perfect copy".......do you mean it won't run from the original, or from your "perfect" backup?

Your info is conflicting.
I'll do my best to help you, as long as I can get a handle on exactly what your problem is.

If you mean that you've installed the game fully, and it won't run from your original disc, then that's not a copying problem, rather a problem with your game and your system.

You're right, it's a bit confusing

well: first i bought the game, and made a full-install (about 1.06 gb) and played it for a while (without a crack, because originals run without cracks) and then a friend asked me to copy it for him! so i copied it, and then i wanna crack the aqua.exe in my Aquanox-Install-Dir with Unsafedisc (with the orig-cd in my cd-drive) but every time i try to dump it, he says : "GetThreadContext failed. process allready finished??" but the no "aquanox.exe.data.bin" was created!!! so i can't rebuild it and the COPY won't run without a crack!!! but the ORIGINAL works fine without a cd!!!
