Ut2003

I have made a backup of the 3 cd's using nero.

I used win xp explorer to copy the contents of the cd to my HD first.

The game installs fine.

However when i try to play the game i get the usual errors. 'Isert Correct CD' or something similar.

I have tried all of the cracks on from here

but i get the following error message for each.

Quote:
UT2003 Build UT2003_Build_[2002-09-19_17.26]

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 2002 MHz with 511MB RAM
Video: No Video

General protection fault!

History: UGameEngine::Exit <- InitEngine
Can some one give me some pointers. I have copied loads of games in the past and this is the only one that has given me grief.

Please help.

the copy prot on this is a bugger so you cant make a one to one. So I take it you're trying to crack the game?

are you running the right crack for the version of UT2203 you have ? the 2136 crack runs fine for me, but you have to patch the game with the official 2136 patch 1st!
