Tear Apart
I love encoding the intros and cutscenes from various games.
Lately though........ PS2 games have been giving me a real problem. I had no trouble at all when converting old games that still stored movies in the .PSS format, but lately, msot new and/or high franchise games (For EXAMPLE: Zone of the Enders, FFXI, DDRMAX) one one of three methods that I just cant get past: 1. They put all (or a large majority, like 95% or higher) of the game files (including mosic and movies) into one big file. Some kind of special format image file I guess. (DDRMAX goes this I believe) 2. They hide the files somehow. The pc knows that the cd is 4.9 gigs, or whatever, but when you open the cd in explorer you only find like 50k worth of files (FFX does this, I think Kingdom Hearts too, even XenoGears cd2 for ps1 did this) 3. They use some format that I can't read, something other then PSS. (I think Zone of the Enders does this, PROBABLY Metal Gear Solid 2 also) Sooo........ any ideas how to crack ANY of these three methods of hiding/protecting files?
