Old Playstation Backups wont play on ps1

Hi all,

I'm puzzled, i have some old playstation backups that i cannot get them to play on my ps1. The ps1 is chipped. I can play new backups on them but not the old one. I tried the patches they don't work. I've tried searching the net but i can't find an answer. It's weird because i get the psx logo but just locks there won't go beyond that. Has anyone ever run into this. Again these are my old playstation backups. Thnx in advance.

they should work im having the same problem w/ my ps2 its not playing psx backups

THis might help.

I use a patch called Psone.ppf can find it at megagames. Do not use use the Ps1full.ppf

Some games that I backup won't work on my Ps1 but works fine on a old psx. If I use the Psone.ppf and burn it then it will work on my Ps1 also.

Try it on the old backups, I think it can solve your problem.
