A nocd is a specific type of crack that allows you to play without the cd inserted, a fixed exe is a type of crack that allows you to play with a backup copy without the modern copy protections like safedisc, securom. So a nocd is a fixed exe where every cd check has been disabled. I asked what version of SS2 you wanted the crack for. Games come out in a certain version, but official patches are made that include bugfixes etc, and the version number is changed when you install such a patch. That's why I need to know what version number your SS2 has, I don't think there's a crack for v2.0, but there is one for v1.9. this for details. When you have unpacked the archive (.rar or .ace), you'll get an executable file ending in .exe, this has to be copied over the old one that was installed on your hard disk. If it's a nocd, you might have to copy additional files on the hard disk so the game can do without the cd, if this is necessary it will be mentioned.
