does my mate talk crap??

right ive been using clone cd for ages now and ive just downloaded the latest version but i noticed that there are barely any settings to ajust anymore , i used to use clony to determine which settings to use ....what do i do know

my mate reckons that clone should copy anyway but i noticed that when i tried to copy a pc game the game never got up to speed in the writer or dvd rom so i could never get started ...any help greatly appreciated thanks

Clone CD is still a powerful tool and can be configured to fit the task at hand.

There is, however, an even more powerful cloning program available called Alcohol. It combines the advantages of both Clone CD and Daemon Tools and adds even a bit more. Try it.

Yes, I thought the same thing too when I first upgraded to CloneCD v4. They screwed up the interface. You now have to right-click on the various icons to get to the settings you want.

i noticed that clone cd starts off very slow when reading a cd, but after a few minutes gradually picks up speed, just let it go for about 10min
