Technical Question
Please read this whole thing instead of the first few words then ignoring it.
I was reading about Final Fantasy XI Online, and I heard that in Japan, where it is currently is out, that the PS2 harddrive is REQUIRED to play. Apparently the entire 5 gig game is installed on the harddrive and even boots completely off the harddrive, you only use the game cd once to install the game. So I was thinking, if it is possible to boot a game (FFXI) off the PS2 harddrive, do you think it would be possible for when the PS2 harddrive is out and common, that somebody could make a bootloader program for it? Where you run the prog, it opens the cd tray, and you put in the cd and play?
