Can anyone help?

I have a ps2. It's not under warranty anymore. I've had it for over a year or so now. It quit playing dvds a while back. It gives a read disc error when I try. I didn't really think too much about it... I bought a dvd player because they work better anyway. Now my ps2 quit reading game discs.... ps2 discs anyway. It reads ps1 games with no problems, but it absolutely wont read any ps2 discs. I've tried a couple different cleaners but it hasn't helped.



Can anyone help?

I would thing the eye on your ps2 is going bad. you can get a new one at http://www.sperry.com.tw/
