PLAYBACK AND PATCHING CLONE CD

I DOWNLOADED THIS PROGRAM CALLED PLAYBACK AND IT INCLUDES THE PGM PLAYBACK AND PATCH.EXE. SO IT WORKS WITH CLONE CD IMAGES SO I WAS WONDERING HOW DOES IT WORK. I STILL HAVE SPYRO 3(clone cd image) WITH NO PATCH ON MY COMPUTER SO WHAT I DID WAS RUN THE PATCH.EXE PGM WITH THE IMAGE AND ALL IT SAID WAS "ALL IS WELL AND NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE IMAGE". ANYWAYS IS THERE ANYWAY TO CONVERT THE CLONE CD IMAGES TO BIN FILES CUZ I ALSO GOT THIS IMAGE CONVERTER PGM BUT IT LOOKS COMPLICATED. LATES

Hi mate. Do you mean the PSX game called "Spyro?" Cos if you do then stop using Playback. this progs purpose is to allow playback of PC games on copied CDR's. The patch facility is to add a different byte sequence onto the cd instead of the original Safedisc2 code. This then enables SD2 protected titles to be played back on a PC running PLAYBACK.
Also, if you've madean image with clone, then why convert it for use by CDRWin? Either use one or the other. Personally I use CDRWin for PSX, Clonecd for all else. Not sure how easy it is to convert .ccd to .bin., if at all.
One way around this is to install Daemon tools and mount your CloneCD image on the Phantom CDRom. Then use CDRWin to make a .bin image file from this virtual CDRom. This deffo works and is much easier than farting about with other proggies.
