should i get PS2 now or wait for its emulater??
hi
i was thinking of getting a ps2 (finally) but i am kinda confused cause the last time when ps1 emulater came out i really found my console worthless so i was wondering that might b the case later when ps2 emulater comes out i got a kik ass pc so i really dont care bout the future ps2 emulater requirements =) so what is urs opinion??

First of all, emulators aren't ever as good as the real deal. Secondly, ps2 emulators are in the extremely early stages and if you wait for a decent ps2 emulator, the ps3 will most likely already be out. Its not like a ps2 is very expensive. Just go ahead and buy a ps2... thats what I would do.

Ditto above comments. I can't tell you anything about the PS2 competition but as already said the time waiting for a good PS2 emulator is likely to be a very long wait and the PS2 could well be propping up the TV or a designer door stop.
Also you would need a very high spec PC to emulate it correctly with a good graphics card. It may only be 350Mhz but it's 350Mhx that is dedicated to graphics rather than sound and running programs in the background, also unless you bugger something up they don't crash either. And it's portable to your mates houses, add some beer and crisps and it's gonna be a late night, not all gathered around a 15 inch screen. Just a thought.
