Burnt Image file not being recgonized.

I recently got an image file for Madden 2003 for the pc. I've used nero and clone cd to burn the image file. When i go to play the game I get an error. The error is: "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with windows." Is there something i'm doing wrong or could it be something else.
