Help Needed for GTA3....Please!

I've got the Myth hacked version of GTA3 from kazaa last week and when i save a game and then try to load it later on it comes up with "unhandled error" and proceeds to shut down the GTA3 game and the error message aswell. Ive downloaded the v1.1 patch and that doesnt work and re-installed it but i cant seem to load the games at all! Help me please as i don't want to sit infront of my computer all day playing it till ive had enough of it!!!
