NHL 2003 error mess

when i try to play NHL 2003 it tells me "please run game from cd" any help wuld be great i have used the gimp crack posted on GCW and the razor one. both give me the same message any help?????

i just wanted to post how to fix it incase anyone had the same problem. i org. installed the game from a folder not the cd. and it must remember from where you install it b/c it would alwayssay"please mplay from cd" i uninstalled it and reinstalled it from the cd and now it works!!!
