Introduction on PS2 changed
Hello,
Recently I took apart my PS2 to install a new laser. After I started it up it worked fine. Than when it came up to the main screen, the 'molecules' in the background were not in orbit anymore. Just a large molecule in the center, but it is strange how it does not effect anything else. And its like its freezed, when I select an option, it starts animating again. Does anyone know what this is? Can it effect my games/movies? Thanks

This is normal. I remember this phenominon when I used to mod v4 ps2's with a neo2.5. In the v5 ps2's this wouldnt occur.

This happen to me after getting the Messiah installed on the NTSC machine. I fix it by twigging some stuff in the menu..After that the Molecule started going around circles again..
Try it..My method was fixing the clock time..

thanks mate, this happened to me to when my ps2 got ****ed up
i put a new chip, laser in and i noticed this. just mucked about with the time faz
