hi m8, i posted this link on here a few days ago, but like all the other before its a pile of stinky goo.

however i think that there is method in there madness cause the modem thing is probally the way to go - but def not to cdr's.

if you look closely then there is one to many solder points then they describe

they must have gone to come effot to put the site up what with the nive photshop pics, but in the ends its just a waste of the host free web space and our time

This is definitly a fake.

I work in the telecom industry and can tell you that you are not going to be able to hook two modems together and get them to talk to each other. You need to put a very specialized device known as a TAS in between them to simulate the telephone line. Things like dial tone, correct voltages, ring signal, etc. must be present for your modem to function....

Now if he said that the gamecube was at a friends house I might have believed it, but there is no such thing as a "crossover" cable for modems.

um, 28 hours to upload 1+ gig to your PC with a modem? Modems usually only have a 33k upstream. Can you even imagine getting 1 gig in 28 hours going like 2.1 kb/s? And kinda like Mordenkainen said, the GC has nothing running on it to tell it to receive the connection. It's like dialing up online, without the phone cord plugged in to the wall.

And why would nintendo make hundreds of thousands of 5kb dummy files to fill the rest of a neo dvd? I'm sure glad you posted this, before somebody really f***ed up their GC.
