Smile

I bought the game, installed it and was pleasantly surprised!

It doesn't need the CD in the CD-Rom drive to work.

Therefore--a no-CD crack is not needed.

(P.S. This applies to the U.S. version, may not apply to other countries' versions.)

CD Protection

Is there any CD protection on the
Celtic Kings CD?
Or how would I make a perfect copy of the CD?

Every time I make a copy of it.
I get CRC errors dueing the installation process useing the copy

Cool

There's no copy protection of any kind (strange these days eh?)

I made a copy of my original CD using Nero 5 and the copy installs and works fine! Use good quality recordable CD's and check your cd-recording software...

Not really, it's really bad business sense protecting budget games and low profile games with expensive copy protections. In fact, I really think it's bad business sense to install slow, expensive, buggy copyprotections on your games and give your customers a lot of grief. Pirates have a lot less hassle with this than us legal buyers. But then again, they don't like to listen to us poor stupid buyers, right ?
