Plextor 121032A and Blindread from a newbie

Hi, i am using (since 2 hours) the plextor 12/10/32A CD writer and i've tried to make a backup of my originals games with blindread...when i look on my Cd after backcup, there is nothing...Anyone could help me plz?
And....what is firmeware?
