Off topic, tyler plz help

in a previous post you said that have put loads of films onto dvd so can u help with this

i got a DVD-divx rip of the scorpion king and want to put it on a dvd so i can watchit on my PS2, i've watch the film and the quailys fine but when i convert it to mpg most of the black parts of the film keep flicking in a out of purple and looks crap, i've tryed Tmpeg and panasonic mpeg encoder but it still dose the same allso i've try using one file and also spliting the file into 2 (vid and audio)

any ideas plz

Is the source movie in .avi form or .mpeg?

How is the audio synch?

When you view the original source movie does it do the above mentioned problems?


Im thinking its your codecs. I have had problematic movies before. I used Nero to encode a VCD because it was the only one that would work well. I then extracted the video from the VCD and encoded that.

the convert to vcd then to mpg then to dvd didn't work, still getting purple bits everywhere the soure file is an .AVI, if the codecs you use r less than 1meg can u mail me then to

protumour**********com

i'm using the ones from divx.com,

anymore ideas m8

oh, and 1 last thing, i've d/led a dvd rip of John-q and shallow hal and both of these have no sound is there anyway to fix this as i've d/led other and they r perfick
