PS2 DVD Editing, Nero

Hi, I just started with DVD PS2 games, and so far the only burning software I have is Nero. So far I've only done straight DVD to DVD copying. I would like to be able to save the dvd to my HD, edit some of the files (I want to change the music, and I have the software to convert PS2 music files to regular music files) and then burn it on to a blank DVD. Does anyone know how to do this with Nero? Thanks in advance.

Let me see if I got this straight.

You want to extract music files so you can add new ones to your the actual dvd game you have?

OR

You want to extract the music files, convert them into "regular music files" (what type of file would that be?) and make them into a music cd?

Nero is not going to be the extracting tool you may need for this job. You will probably want to get ISOBUSTER.

Answer my questions and give more details on what you want to do and I will help as much as I know how.

Thanks for replying. I need to copy everything off of the dvd, save it to my HD, replace the music files with my own music files (I know how to do this step fine), and then burn everything onto a DVD. In the end the burned DVD will be exactly the same as the original, but with my modified music files on it. The parts I need help with is getting a copy of the DVD on my hard drive with Nero in a format that I can modify the files with, and then burning all of this onto a DVD.

Nero isnt going to do it for you the way you want. So forget using Nero to do this.

What you will need is ISOBUSTER. It takes the files off a ps2 dvd and puts them in whatever folder you want it to. From there you can modify them.

You may want to read up on DVD ripping because basically you are going to use the same techniques.

You will also need CD\DVD Generator so you can generate a dvd image.

Tell me when you get these items. Also post what game you will be wanting to do this with.

REMEMBER I AM NOT SURE THIS WILL WORK.

The game I am trying to do this with is THPS3, and I've edited the music.wad file already. I have the CD/DVD-ROM generator, but it won't work with my burner (Pioneer A04). I can get what I want to burn in a .nri file in Nero, but this isn't in a format the PS2 can read. I also have a .nrg file for the original, but I don't know how to change it to have the new .wad file in it.
