newbie wanting advice on dvd burners

i am thinking of getting a dvd burner but my question is which one would be good for me.. i have tons of movies i would love to backup and a ps2 and a xbox and a gamecube but i guess gamecube is out now which burner would be best for backing up all of my important games and movies? are they any certain one that does them all? any advice would be great

ps2 would be the only thing you could do a direct back up of. everything else would require ripping, and editing. most movies are larger than 4.7 gbs, and i believe its the same for xbox games.
