How do I use a patch

Hi Guys, I work with disabled children and have been backing up a few playstation 1 games for them however I noticed that some of them will not work eg: Ape Escape and I am told it needs a patch How and when do I apply this patch in order to make a backup

www.megagames.com hosts a lot of patches for use, if you cant find your one there try www.gamefreax.de or www.ps2ownz.com

Hi Paul I downloaded a patch for Ape Escape ir has four files
File ID DIZ
PDX APE -BLK
PDX APE.EXE
PDX APEC .NFO
iT SAID TO USE CDR WIN SO i INSTALLED CDRWIN 3 however it will not find my cd writer .I did manage make a bin file and a cue file but then it says go into cdrwin and go to cuesheet options, load the cuesheet and burn but I could not find cue sheet options
I will have to find another copier that will find my cdr and can wright in Raw and produce bin files

Update your CDRWIN to the latest version. That may solve your problem.
