What does it mean if dreamcast recognizes a file as Audio???

I have a file that a put onto a disc that was supposed to be a full game. When I load it into the dreamcast it recognizes it as audio. Does this mean I may need Utopia or it is a bad copy?

Look in the root dir of your burned CD.

If it contains a file called"IP.BIN"
(the bootsector of the original CD),
then your game is no "selfboot-CD" and requires
the Utopia boot-CD to run.
