backing up on a mac
Does anyone know if it's possible to back-up/patch ps2 games on a macintosh?

As you may have noticed, the forum is rich with the same question and poor on answers. One member, chris_s, replied as follows:
--------- use "Astarte CD-Copy" to make an image, then use "Toast" to burn the cd, you may need to patch the games, so use megagame.com and d/l ppf-o-matic and read the info. Oh make sure in cd-copy to ignore read errors, if you get error then you know you have to patch. --------- Maybe that's he;pful. The other way that accurs to me is to use the PC card for the MAC assuming it sees the burner in a useful way. Cheers |
