Monty Burns is on a distinguished road
Hi,

1) VCDs have two tracks. But the explorer only shows information about the first track, which contains about 2MB of data. The second track contains the the movie files (.dat).

2) Nobody blasted up the contents of the CD and you don't have to get rid of it, as you can easily write it to a 700MB CD-R.
VCD use a format which allow you to burn more than 700MB onto a CD-R.

Hope this helps.

hmmm thanx for your reply but am still having problems, when I try to copy the disc it tells me that my drive writer cannot determine the type of one or more tracks on the cd!!! yet I can copy the disc to my hard drive ? but if I do this and then try to transfer it to from hard drive to a cdr-80 it tells me that I dont have enough room on my disc for the transfer??? hmmmmm any follow up on that one?

no, have been using my hp cd writer software, have given clone cd a go but it has went silly on me and freezes?.... If I want to use nero I have to remove my other burning software as it conflicts but will give it a go.Was wondering if this prob might have anything to do with me flashing my dvd/cd rom drive so that it plays multi region dvds????hmmmm. just done it recently. Anyway will give nero a go and see what happens. thanx.
