Modchip
I bought my ps2 second hand and was curious to know which mod-chip it has in it. Is there any way i can work out which mod-chip i have?

1 What model PS2 is it and which version? 2 What boot method do you use for unprotected games? 3 What boot method do you use for EA patched games? 4 Have you looked inside and counted the wires (essential) |

The model bumber is Japenese scph 15000, i'm not sure what version.
I use a single boot disc swap method to play all backup cd games. No I haven't opened up my PS2 and counted the wires. I don't actually know what the chip looks like so where are the wires that I count and what does it look like? Thanks |

I've seen this topic on here alot lately now it makes since to me if I was going to buy a new/used PS2 with a modchip in it that I would ask what kind of chip was in it before purchase
