PS-Xchange 2 override question!
I was wanting to know if the PS-Xchange 2 boot CD will work on backups of protected games without having to use a patch. Usually the protection is there for detecting a mod-chip, but if you have no mod-chip and use the PS-Xchange to bypass the start up data, then it should work, correct??? Or am I totally wrong about how the PS-Xchange 2 works?? There are certain games that I would like to backup, but I cant find the correct protection patches for them. So if the boot CD will allow games to be played without having to patch the protection, then I am all set! Please help me out. Thanks

If the game has mod-chip detection protection then the psx-2 will not over-ride it.IT will stop and say software aborted system may have been modified. But there is an area to enter ant-mod codes somewhat like a game shark allows you to do and it works for me so far.
