Why won't Dino Crisis work on PSX 1000 series

My backup of Dino Crisis will work on other PSX but not on my 1000 series, why is this?

has your psx got a chip

if it has it may be that it might be the problem like the problem with res survivor some chips it just wont work on

if your copy of dino crisis is ntsc even if pal converted you will need a copy of the boot up disc not all games will work on a psone, thats hy i still have a 900x series
