Mod-Chip instalation, anyone seen this model?

ok, i have been using a modified game enhancer for playing imports for a while now. But a friend just sold me a mod chip for $10. He doesnt remember where he got it and doesnt haven any instructions anymore. So i was wondering if anyone is familier with a 8 wire mod chip with these color of wires: purple, red, blue, yellow, 2 green, orange, and white. It is basicly a a small chip covered in blue plastic or something. With the 8 wired coming out of one end. And i know that it was shipped to him from Canada. If anyone knows where these come from please give me a URL so i can get directions, or pictures. Thank you.

ok, nevermind. Once i cut the blue plastic off the chip i found it to be the same as all other chips such as the ones at modchip and mod-chip.com . . . . except they screwed up when wiring it. I will hafta take all the wires off the chip and re-solder em
