subtitles?

hey guys, i just downloaded a divx copy of A Very Long Engagement. the movie is in french was split into two files. included are two subtitle files (.srt). i am not sure how to combine them or make them work. any programs that can do it? if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks
