CMC Magnetics CD-Rs...

I bought some Verbatim CD-Rs off of newegg.com, not realizing that I wasn't buying DataLifePlus branded discs. I got the regular DataLife CD-Rs, which use the CMC Magnetics dye as opposed to the Mitsubishi/AZO dye of the DataLifePlus. Will these still work? I'm going to be using them for PSX and PS2-CD backups on my PS2. Do you think the CMC dye will harm the laser?

PS. I have the Romeo mod, in regards to laser damage. Since this question is in regards to PSX backups on CD-R, I posted in the PSX section. Mods, feel free to move it if you think it'd be better answered in the PS2 section.
