Help A N00b - Playing Backups w/out modchip?
Hi.. this may seem like a really nooby question but i am a n00b. I have some original PSX games i wish to backup. And reading an FAQ at megagames, i've heard that it should be possible to run a copied PSX cd without a modchip or without the swap trick. This is because the main copy check is the "bad blocks" method, and apparently, it's possible to simulate these with the right hardware/software. I'd really appreciate any help because i cant find the info anywhere. All i've read is that it IS possible. Is this true or just a lie?
Thanks, Ollie L |
