BBA Ripping Question?

Ok, on BBRip (on the options), do you have to enter your "actual" ip address, or do you just make up an ip address? what i mean is, if connected by dial-up, what do you enter dfor the ip address?

if you are stuck for things to try (i haven't done this bb ripping becuase sega do not ship outside the USA) 255.255.255.255

this address is a broadcast address that sends information to any connected NIC that is on the same side of a router

this is just a stab in the dark, but it is a basic IP addressing concept

P.S. any suggestions for where to get a bb adapter, but not liksang because I am not paying £81 for it when sega do it for $60
